I do not know the owners of this 4×4, but they chose their place to camp. Mangersta beach is one of the prettiest on the Isle of Lewis. Wedged between two sections of cliff, this beach is a privileged natural space. It feels really good!
For camping, these tourists have really planned everything: the tent on the roof of the car, the retractable ladder and the clothesline. I see they respect the rules for wild camping in Scotland. Basically, we must always respect nature. We must avoid crowds, do not stay long in one place, do not campfire and collect our rubbish.
This is how we can continue to enjoy a haven of peace like this one. On the 4×4, there is a sticker that reads « One life, live it ». We only have one life, let’s take advantage of it to discover the beaches of Lewis.
