It’s the strong men’s bar in Aberdeen! Four men are leaning on the counter, waiting for the waiter to get closer to order a glass of Scotch Whisky. I guess they know each other.
Behind the bar, three women look at them. The face of a fourth woman is reflected in the mirror. I wonder what she is thinking about. She must be waiting for her friends to arrive, to have a bite to eat or just have a drink upstairs.
It’s dark in the streets of Aberdeen, but it’s not so late. On my watch, it’s just past 6pm. The atmosphere is relaxed as people come out of work. People are having fun, I can hear their laughs. They make me want to join them, which I do.
