cockels-mussels-and-cod-sir-edwards-roadtrip

To eat a good Scottish dish that is tasty and surprising, sometimes you have to think outside the box. That’s what I did in Edinburgh. I moved away from the historical centre, looking for a cuisine that is both authentic and modern.

And I found it! The restaurant First Coast must have made many gastronomes happy. Here, the produce is fresh and the dishes are appetising. It seems that seafood goes very well with Scotch Whisky. So, I opt for a dish with cod, mussels and cockles.

I was nicely inspired. Scotland produces delicious fish and shellfish. I recommend the mussels of the Isle of Skye or Argyll. I tasted some during my trip, I’ll fondly remember it!
