Forth Bridge connects Edinburgh to the Fife region – if you take the train to the north of Scotland, that’s the way you travel. With its vaults, the bridge looks very modern. In fact, it was built at the end of the 19th century.
At the time, its 2.5 km length was a technical feat. The work lasted no less than 8 years. Its structure allows it to be particularly solid. And it’s been there for almost 130 years !
The Scots are very attached to this bridge. In the evening, in Queensferry, they like to walk on the shore and watch the sky ignite. I also watched the sun go down. Then I went for a drink in one of the many pubs in the area. It was a lovely evening !
