hetties-tearoms-succumb-to-afternoon-tea-sir-edwards-roadtrip

After a good hike in the Cairngorms, Hettie’s Tearooms is a happy sight in the centre of Pitlochry. Just seeing the facade of this tea room already makes me feel comfortable.

At Hettie’s, they master the art of Afternoon tea. This tea is a gourmet pleasure because it is served with scones with jam and creamdelicious cakes and « wee » (small) sandwiches.

This famous afternoon tea is traditionally served around 4pm. The fashion was launched by aristocrats in the 19th century. But today, it can be enjoyed at any time of the day. It is the case at Hettie’s anyway!
