In the Finnieston neighbourhood, I meet a lot of young people. Hipsters with their well-groomed beards, young, stylish workers, a neighbourhood in full renaissance.
Formerly, it was where sailors of the port of Glasgow hung out. Following the industrial decline, Finnieston had been a bit abandoned. In recent years, businesses have returned and cultural places have multiplied.
Today, Argyle Street is a street where there are many bars and restaurants. You can eat a good hamburger and talk with the locals. Here, everyone is attached to the village spirit of Finnieston. I feel a close community in the heart of the big city.
