kilt-and-down-jacket-sir-edwards-roadtrip

Before coming to Scotland, I thought the kilt was only good for tourists. Actually, not at all. Of course, we do not see kilts every two minutes, but it is not an uncommon sight. Scots like to wear them on special occasions.

The kilt is cut in tartan. It is a fabric from the Highlands. They were already weaved in Scotland almost 500 years ago!

I was told that if you want to follow the tradition, wearing the skirt is not enough. For men, you must add three accessories: a small bag around the waist, a pin to hold the fabric and a small dagger placed in the sock.

Apparently, the jacket is not part of the traditional dress, but it is convenient when it is cold!
