The Rhins of Galloway Peninsula is one of my favourite spots in southern Scotland. Because right at the end of it, you get to the extreme south of the country. To get there, I took a road that winds along the coast. And the final stop is Mull of Galloway lighthouse. You can’t go any further!

From Mull of Galloway lighthouse, I know the view is spectacular. 26 meters high, I can see Scotland, England, Ireland and the Isle of Man. All in one look!

Of course, the weather must be clear. This is often the case, as the lighthouse is only open from Easter to October. Today, the sky is deep blue. I only have 115 steps left to get to the top of the lighthouse. Easy!
