Mull of Galloway is a magical place, a rocky point at the end of a long peninsula. Here I am at the very south of Scotland!
Compared to the far north of Scotland, sunlight in the south is more intense. On this beautiful day, the sun’s rays illuminate the rocks. From a distance, it looks like the cliffs are covered in gold!
Mull of Galloway was developed by the grandfather of writer Robert Louis Stevenson. He built a lighthouse there. I don’t know if the place inspired the grandson for his novels, but for me it’s the real « treasure island« !
