partick station scotland roadtrip-siredwards

Glasgow is a real inspiration for street artists. Street Art is everywhere! I saw a crocodile, a musician and even the Scottish comedy genius Billy Connolly. Since 2014, the town hall has created a map to find all the frescoes. A real open air museum!

As for these paintings, it was a surprise. I saw them going to Partick Station. They represent two netball players and a hockey player. These frescoes date back to 2014. They were painted by Guido Van Helten, when Glasgow hosted the Commonwealth Games.

I like these frescoes. They give life to these stone walls and tell the story of the people of Glasgow.
