Calgary is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Isle of Mull. Like all the Hebrides beaches, Calgary Bay has turquoise waters and white sand. It was only missing a palm tree for me to think I’m in the tropics!
Yet, I, for sure, was in Scotland. There was no palm tree, but there was short grass. The word « Calgary » means « meadow » in Gaelic. So, I was at the meadow beach. This name is still relevant, as sheep graze on the surrounding hills.
Facing the sea, the atmosphere was soothing, I felt zen! I was listening to the sound of crashing waves as the sun began to set.
