tarbert-in-the-sun-sir-edwards-roadtrip

Tarbert is an enchanting place. The small colourful houses stretch out on the harbour and make you want to stop there. As I was told, it is an excellent base for visiting the beautiful Kintyre Peninsula.

While waiting to go on a walk, I explore the small natural harbour of Tarbert. With its horseshoe shape, it is an invitation to a stroll. There still are professional fishermen in Tarbert. It makes me want to eat fish.

I was recommended the Café Ca’Dora on the harbour, the food is simple and tasty. Their fish and chips seem to have everything you need: a beautiful golden breadcrumb and some very soft fish. I am going there right now!
