There is something very classy about Lews Castle. When I pushed its big wooden door open, I let myself be carried away by its charm. Built at the time of Queen Victoria, the castle is now a hotel and a museum. Lews Castle is also famous for its whisky bar.

With windows overlooking the tree-filled park, the place is perfect for a drink. As I was looking at the map, I heard piano notes being played. It’s an authentic Steinway.

The sweetness of the music made me want to order a Scotch whisky. I also hesitated with a Scotch Whisky cocktail. I finally decided on a Manhattan. A piano, the Isle of Lewis, the strength of Scotch Whisky: the cocktail is perfect!
