I think the location of Turnberry lighthouse is magical. Surrounded by cliffs battered by the waves, it faces the beautiful island of Ailsa Craig.
Since it was built in the 19th century, the Turnberry lighthouse has changed a lot, especially since Donald Trump bought it. It is now a luxury suite apparently rented for £ 7000 per night. At that price, the butler better be included!
In addition to the lighthouse, Turnberry resort has a luxury hotel and a spectacular golf course. From here, I can see the 9th hole. Be careful not to hit the ball too hard, as the cliff is just besides, it could be difficult to recover!
