A cottage on the Isle of Skye

While driving on the Isle of Skye, I came across some white houses, which stand out on the green slopes. These are cottages. Some are farms, others are holiday homes. Some others are both, like Kelpie Cottage.

For nature lovers, cottages are perfect places. In this one, I was surrounded by Loch Mor, mountains and sheep.

Apparently, you can spot sea eagles and golden eagles. Warmly dressed, I settled to observe wildlife. That couple did just like me.

I also waited until nightfall. In winter, you don’t need to wait much, the sun sets after 15h30. Here, the sky is famous for its great purity. Far from any light pollution, the stars soon showed up.
