On the road to Butt of Lewis, houses are rare. And shops are even more so! So, when I drove past Sea in Design, I had to stop.

It is difficult to pass the shop without seeing it. The front is a collection of fishing traps and colourful buoys. At first, I did not understand what it was: a fisherman’s house? that of a quirky person?

In fact, it’s an antique shop, with an incredible collection of what’s found in the attics of the Isle of Lewis. Inside the shop, there are boat modelschinaold booksstorm lamps or even fishing flies.

It’s a good address if you want to bring back a truly authentic souvenir from Lewis!
