Cove Harbour, the hidden gem

I step forward to see closer, there must be lobsters and crabs. These are the specialties of the port. The port of Cove has a special story. Since 1990, it is privately owned.

It was bought by an Edinburgh architect who wanted to preserve it. The port is open to visitors but it must, of course, be respected. You can also help finance its maintenance.

Cove Harbour and the Borders are not the most touristy places, people tend to stay in Edinburgh or go north. However, I find the place particularly pleasant. I advise you to take the path that descends to the coast. After going through a tunnel, you will get to a charming beach.
