underground scotland roadtrip sir edwards

In the city centre, stairs and bridges intertwine, to create a city over several levels. A real labyrinth!

To join Tunnels from Union Street, I take McCombie’s Court, an alley that leads to Netherkirkgate. There, I turn left towards an underpass that looks disused. Once underground, you’ll be surprised: the pink and yellow lights in the tunnel create a soft and warm atmosphere. The evening is looking good!

These lights indicate the entrance to Tunnels, one of the best concert halls in the city. The stage is small but the audience is welcoming. Tonight, I’m going to discover a young Scottish folk band. With their violin and drums, these guys warm up the night in Aberdeen !
