If you’ve been a schoolboy in Scotland, you must know Robert the Bruce. He reigned over the Scots from 1306 to 1329. It was a long time ago, but people still talk about him!
We have to admit that the man was a great warrior. He is remembered for winning the first independence war against the English.
This statue of Robert the Bruce is located at the entrance of Stirling Castle. It’s not the only one in Scotland, but this one is my favourite. I find that it expresses well the strength of the character and the pride of the Scots.
