After a day hiking in the Glen Coe, I wanted to eat and settle down. On the quays of Oban, I found just what I needed!
The Cuan Mor Restaurant is aptly named. « Cuan Mor » means the ocean. From inside the restaurant, you have a view of the beautiful bay of Oban, gateway to the Atlantic Ocean.
While waiting for a place, I have a glass of Scotch Whisky at the bar. Once settled at a table, I peruse the evening menu. It has a lot of local products. There is fresh salmon, crab and Argyll mussels.
In the end, I opt for a « gourmet burger« , with a slice of haggis, a Scottish venison steak and an apple sauce. The atmosphere is warm, the food is neat. For me, the picture is perfect.
